Mini Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is a fairly simple game to enjoy as every part of the game is governed through a firm set of game rules. The banker controls the cards, there are no choices to be made after an initial bet.

Players may wager on a tie, on the dealers hand or the players hand to win, with the winning hand being closest to a total of 9 as possible.
Different from Blackjack, you cannot “bust”. Baccarat is played modulo 10, if your hand total exceeds 10 you take off ten from the hand total until the result is between 0 and 9.

To start off, the participant decides where to put money on, then both the player(s) and the dealer receive 2 cards.

Whenever the players hand or bankers hand total is an 8 or 9, they have a “Natural” and neither receives any further cards. Whenever both the player and dealer receive a “natural”, then the end result is a tie.

Provided neither the player or banker gets a Natural, then the following rules control what takes place next:

First the players hand is dealt with.

Players Hand: Players Required Action:
0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 Draw a third card
6, 7 Stay

After the players turn is complete, what happens next depends on the players hand.
